Easter Eggstravaganza

Our church hosted it's first "Easter Eggstravaganza" this weekend - it was fun filled time full of family activities. The boys, especially Aaron, had a blast. Highlights included egg dying which was really great to have the mess there and not in my house. :) Aaron would proudly tell you that he snagged 33 eggs during the egg hunt, while Caleb was more interested in playing on the playset for the most post. All in all, it was tons of fun and a nice family time.

Baby Update

There she is - Our no-name baby girl! You should be able to see her eyes, nose and lips and she is laying on her cheek on her little hand - so sweet! We had our 28-week sono today and the doctor was nice and played around in 3D mode for us. We got 100% confirmation that she is a girl so now we really need to start thinking about nursery and names. She is measuring great and officially as "tall & skinny." We so look forward to meeting her in just about 10 weeks. What a gift!

Sorry if this is a little too much info for you but we got a kick out of Caleb this weekend. The poor boy had been constipated for several days and I had spent the night up with him crying for several hours in pain. Well, relief finally came on Sunday afternoon and his reaction was too funny. He couldn't stop smiling and laughing - all afternoon long. So much so that it merited getting the camera out to capture his joy over his accomplishment. He apparently was also too excited to take a nap.

Baby Talk

Caleb has started the cutest thing and when you ask him to say "sister," he says "sissy" is the sweetest little voice. Aaron has said his share of cute things about the baby lately too. When I asked him what he thought the baby would look like, he thought really hard and said, "I hope she has a pony tail!" :) Also, when a friend asked him if he was excited to have a baby sister, he said, "Yes, but it's taking a long time!" Yes it is! I am 26 weeks along today and get told quite often that "Oh, you must be due ANY day!" Try at least 12 more weeks. We are doing well and perhaps I will post a preggo pic tomorrow or so... depends on how large I am feeling - no pics today! My sister is due very soon so we are mostly awaiting our newest niece these days. Can't wait! :)

Update: Pictures obviously added. Aaron really wanted to be in the picture - he loves my belly and comes up and hugs & kisses his baby sister randomly throughout the day. Once Caleb saw pics being taken, he was right there in front saying "Cheese!!!" Love my boys!

Saturday Fun

Scott had to work all day on Saturday, starting with him leaving bright and early for San Antonio and not getting home until bedtime for the boys. So it worked out great that my little sister Lindsey came for a visit. Me & the boys spent most of Saturday out at my parents' place - it was nice to spend the day with my youngest niece Allison. She is a cutie! The boys had a blast playing with her, and the dirt work Papa needed help with was a hit too! Caleb was a little too excited to take a nap at Papa & Grammy's house but it did manage to tuck himself in for rest in front of their backdoor - silly boy.

Weekend Review

We had an impromptu family outing to San Antonio this past weekend. Our goals consisted of doing some shopping for the boys and going to the "Best Pro Shop" as Aaron calls the Bass Pro Shop. The weather was beautiful, and we got to the shopping before the crowds were bad so it was actually quite enjoyable, and the boys cooperated way past nap time. With all we did, I think the flat tire Aaron got to see Scott change in the mall parking lot was the biggest highlight of the day!
