Christmas Highlights

Christmas was a blast this year. Our boys had THREE large gift opening sessions on Christmas Day - ours then out to my parents then out to Scott's parents. Quite the day!

Caleb opted to eat breakfast instead of open gifts at our house... very fitting for him. Chainsaw from Uncle Cory & Aunt Evie ... Cousins!

Sea World Christmas trip

We had a fun family outing yesterday to get one last use out of our Sea World passes before the end of the year. We had perfect weather and a great time as a family of four. Here are some of the highlights:
LOVE that this is the 2nd LIVE Sesame Street show at Sea World this year - all free with our passes - AND it "snowed" at the end of the show.
Lowe's sponsored a Santa's toy shop and Aaron put this together all by himself. Right up his alley!

4-D Polar Express movie - a bit intense but the boys made it through the whole 30 minute show.

A day full of fun for Aaron only for him to be up all night with the tummy bug - he seems to be on mend so hopefully it will be short lived and run its course through the family before Christmas.

Baby Dreams

I had my second baby dream last night - which was a lot like the first. The c-section goes horribly/painfully wrong again (based on my real-life Caleb experience) but this time in the dream they knock me out. About 10 hours later, I awake to find that I have had a baby girl only in this 2nd dream Scott has taken the liberty of naming her all on his own ... "Martha." Not likely!

Santa 2009

While in Temple, we made a visit to Santa. Santa historically has not gone over well with my boys so we had very low expectations. Aaron surprised us all by practically running up to Santa to give him a hug. Aaron was the first on his lap and very ready to share his wish list with him. Caleb was not thrilled with the idea but cooperated just fine. Best Santa pics we will have for a while I'm sure since there's no screaming.
Aaron was sweet and also told Santa Caleb's wih list saying, "That's my little brother Caleb but he can't talk - but he likes trains." :)

Fun with Friends

Mason Taylor, Caleb & Abby Capron, Aaron and Caleb

We had a fun Friday night staying with our good friends the Taylors in Waco. The Caprons (minus Jon) were able to come by also so that made it extra fun. We were all friends during our newlywed days in Waco and the thought of having kids was terrifying to everyone - now look where we are! The kids even did a pretty good job pausing for a pic! Thanks Taylors for a fun night! The rest of weekend consisted of visiting my sisters in Temple - pics from visiting Santa to come ...

Hello!

Our youngest child wanted to wave hello to you ...

Yes - we are pregnant with our FINAL baby! I am 12 weeks along and things seem to be progressing smoothly. We are so thankful for this new, little life that is reaking havoc on me physically. He/she is due June 16th but we anticipate a c-section a couple of weeks before that. Aaron is thrilled and only wants a baby sister - we'll find that part out at the end of January. We of course don't care about the gender and just look forward to loving this new little one.

My heart shaped uterus which I thought was cute today to think of him (yes, I think of him as a him - can't wrap my mind around a girl) all tucked into that little heart. For the record, this is acutally a problem that grows & gets more defined as I progress but we've dealt with it each pregnancy so trust the Lord knows what He is doing. But for today, it's cute! :)

Sucking his little thumb ... amazing what you can see this early.

Tough Job

Well, it's a tough job but somebody has to do it - this is how I found my dad and Caleb when I got home from a business luncheon yesterday. My kids are just sooooo hard to babysit. :)
